I've been keeping quiet throughout all of this, using the <ahem> DELETE button and just skipping over the flame war bits. But I felt it was time to chime in. :)

Gotta say I'd rather read one of Thrash's posts than 200 posts about items for sale on Ebay, which version of a remix is longer or what they talked to Andy Hughes about backstage for 20 seconds....I mean who gives a fuck?

You just ruled out just about every topic ever discussed on here (well not really but sorta). If I were to take your argument to the extreme, why discuss anything at all unless it effects your personal daily life. Or anything at all for that matter. I am tempted to call your attention to the ability to do two things: 1) Delete messages. People on this list dont tend to change the topic often so if you see a thread which is a flame war, delete those messages 2) The unsubscribe function. If NONE of the topics in this list interest you, you are free to unsubscribe. It is after all a free country (at least where I am).

But, everyone's entitled to post more or less what they wants and I ain't bitching cos like I said a chuckle or two more than makes up for the energy it takes to spank the delete key.

Like anyone is actually gonna fly to another continent to [attempt to] kick someone's ass? get a grip...yeah ok if it's carefully planned with a spot of record shopping or a touch of catalogue numbers spotting....maybe.....

I love bringing up that topic. Who the hell threatens someone with physical violence over a digital medium? I mean maybe it makes sense if you know one another in real life, but otherwise come on! Not only do you sound like an idiot, but its all just so much posturing anyways ;)
