Oh,please.... couldn´t someone pick up the Badorb compilation for me, I´ll send the money cash to you...., thanx, Christoph from Germany -- T-ISDN XXL: Der Festnetz-Anschluss mit dem Extra-SpaÃfaktor! http://bonus.gmx.net/?gid=41442879&prid=335
Woo hoo! Got my cd copy of Bless You today - NOT from BadOrb, I might add, but rather my fairy Godmother. First off, the packaging is *so* exquisite that I found it hard to believe it was actually a badorb product! :-P Seriously, though, its a lovely greyscale booklet with all the critters next to the appropriate tracklisting. (I'll get a scan up on my site tomorrow sometime, in case anyone's interested.) And the cd is most excellent! I know its contrary to how most of you feel out there, but a cd is so liberating compared to vinyl! I mean, I can listen to it anywhere! Yeehaw! I have renewed enthusiasm for the music now! The Cool Harbour track (by the Orb) is superb, and was included in LX's dj set when he came through SF last time (IIRC, which I don't always do) - its a groovy little tune which chugs along like a rhythmic train! (BTW, I sent a pretty blunt email to sales@badorb.com expressing some of my frustration yesterday.) So for those of you still waiting, it sure is a treat when it arrives! =) rach ______________________ Rachel's Shrine to The Orb: http://www.migoto.com/orb
Time to add my tuppence worth to the fray. I couldn't work out badorb.com either, but it did look nice while I was clicking through. I have found another UK supplier for Bless You here http://search.cdzone.co.uk/ but if you do the maths, I am still almost three pounds better off getting it from the US at CDNOW!!! Talk about rip-off britain. In the meantime, while I wait '9 to 14 days' for my exquisite parcel, I will placate myself with this as my wallpaper http://www.tsew.net/glasto/stages/pages/DSCF0011_JPG.htm You should have been there 8) Billy -> rachel wrote:

I've always liked BadOrb's design...their "generic" sleeve is better than most "regular" sleeves.

Yeah; I prefer CD too...I always thought that limiting themselves to 12"s was a mistake.

Heh. There is a glaring error in the tracklisting though...it claims that Multiverse - Puffin In Paradise is used, but track 8 is actually Tokyo Invaders. Oops. Too bad, since PIP is one of the best tracks BadOrb has released. :/
