Did anyone go to Shadow/Numark/Cut Chemist the following weekend i.e. the one just gone? I erm *cough* didn't quite make it. I hope the bitch in front of me who bought the last 6 tickets enjoyed it.
Sorry, forgot to report to the list. LX started with Lovin'you. He was supposed to play a set with old skool rave anthems from 88-92. In stead of that he played some dub & drum and bass. Second part of his set was only oldskool hiphop. This was one of the best and most surprising djsets I've ever heard. Perfect record choice, and also perfect mixing skills. He ended his set with LFC (Danny Tennaglia's Detour mix). After most people left the hall, some people (including me) were talking with LX near the dj-booth. Then LX put on his white label copy of KLF's 'Chill Out'. I couldn't resist so I asked if he did work on it. With a very big smile he said: 'Yeah, what do you think'. After that the Melkweg had to close so we left the building. Greetz, RJ --- Ed <lhalley@pacbell.net> wrote:
