does it matter if they arrive late?
First of all, yes, it does matter. Secondly, late arrival is the least (and *hardly* the full extent) of the problems I and others have had with BadOrb fulfillment. Having said that, my subscription problems, which were the source of most of my (old) complaints, were finally sorted out, and since then I'm pretty much a happy camper. It seems that there might have been a glitch with two separate orders I placed for BOB12, but I'm still waiting to see if another package arrives before I release the hounds.
I don't mean to be too harsh, but... ...if you are planning a... ...DJ set based on an unreleased record you haven't heard yet... ...you are counting your chickens before they're hatched.
Don't worry: not harsh. Fallacious (I *have* heard it), but not harsh.
I've got 13 of them in my hands (well, at home anyway) How many do you want before you discuss them? 13 seems like plenty to me
As one of the lucky few who've gotten all 13 without a hitch, where's *your* discussion?
"I don't think BOB(x) is as good as all the others" (IMHO x=13 btw)
Oh, I guess that was it. (I'm actually taking the piss: I remember you posting that you too liked Conduit after I did, and maybe a recent post about Creature...?) I'll take a stab at something a little more meaningful. Here's my (arbitrary, off-the-cuff) ranking of the BOBs thus far: 1. BOB4 - Creature 2. BOB12 - Orb 3. BOB1 - SE Berlin 4. BOB14 - Takayuki 5. BOB8 - Fusionic 6. BOB10 - Conduit 7. BOB7 - Prayer Box 8. BOB5 - Multiverse 9. BOB6 - Electric Chairs 10. BOB2 - Ayumi 11. BOB3 - Autolump 12. BOB4.5 - Unknown 13. BOB11 - Creature remixes 14. BOB9 - Loophead 15. BOB13 - Cod Head Separate from that, the ones I've probably played out most often are Ayumi (mixes well with Blue Room), Conduit, Creature, Fusionic and SE Berlin. I've played all but a few during sets, but still have something of a guilt complex about not playing my BOBs more often, both because the tracks are so good and because of the money I've sunk into them. Gotta work on that... Also, having gotten all of them, I wear my TOGs constantly: to work, out to shows, etc. They're becoming something of a "uniform" for me. They're great conversation pieces, too: yesterday someone asked me if my TOG3 was from a coffee shop. I didn't realize until I got my Mughz that the little animal/satellite fellas had names. Gotta get a copy of "Bless You" to find out the rest, I reckon (didn't someone say they were listed in there?). What the heck, here's my ranking of the characters: 1. TOG2 - Cat 2. TOG6 - Swan (duck?) 3. TOG3 - Cow 4. Toucan soccer dude from the badorb.com catalog page 5. TOG14 - Squid (?) 6. TOG12 - Human (?) 7. Deer (?) from live shows and badorb.com events page 8. TOG7 - Snake 9. TOG8 - Rooster 10. TOG9 - Rat (?) 11. TOG13 - Lion 12. TOG1 - Elk (?) 13. TOG10 - Ram (?) 14. TOG4 - Moose 15. TOG5 - Gorilla JG

Did someone want the Elvis version proper uploading in mp3 format somewhere? Apologies if it's already been covered but I couldn't face reading 300+ emails from the list.

i am Atlanta, and i have had bob12 for ... two weeks now. just so you know. also, if i remember correctly i ordered it on the day that it was posted, so if they are shipping based on when people ordered, that might explain why it got to me rather early.... also, my bob11 arrived only 2 weeks before my 12, yet had been ordered a month (or two) earlier. i had written Garphoo to complain, and heard back. so maybe mine got shipped early for that reason... i dunno, but there is some data for you. BTW, i like bob12 a good bit.... PJK ===== All the other kids are doing it --> http://www.EvilSponge.org __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! This is kinda spam, so be warned. I belong to a yahoogroup dedicated to organizing tape swaps. at least, it was. we did a few last year -- everyone got someone else's contact info, made a tape, and sent it off. it was a lot of fun, and i heard some neato stuff that i had never heard before. and then the girl who organized the whole thing changed colleges or something and disappeared, and we have floundered without leadership. well, there is a new guy willing to coordinate the trades, but we need members. so: are you interested in trading mix cassettes with other folks? (note: we might upgrade this thing to involve mix CD's as well....) if so, then go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/random_tape_trade/join and sign up. if we get enough members, we will start swapping again. hopefully, i will see some of you there.
