i was watching a film calleed ocean's eleven and the mysterious elvis track is part of the soundtrack. i can't seem to find any author of the track other then elvis, but that's where to get a clean version, i guess -- it sounded exactly like the lx version.

Not that we (the list) haven't been through this before, but the "version" you heard was in fact the original version. That's what was so surprising (to me at least): that all the big-beat sounding elements from whatever mix LX played were actually there in the Elvis original (including that killer drum break intro - ouch!). The Junkie XL version, on the other hand: - is not the version in Ocean's 11, - is not the version LX played, - is complete crap. JG PS - Gotta love when David Holmes recycled elements of the Elvis track for other parts of the Ocean's 11 instrumental score, too...
