I installed EDONKY2000 last night on my comp. It was a Movie d/ling prog on the web. My machine started to act strange. The whole Prog is SPYWARE. It crashed ICQ and Ad-Aware went WILD! Do not use that prog!!!!! I had to Hack ICQ out of the registry and several other things. Just thought that the list members might like to know this info. I am back on icq and it is running. I agree with RM. I used to use this and every time I started it up my firewall showed 200 to 300 open listening connections from E-Donkey!!! Very suspect bit of freeware, avoid at all costs. Can anyone recommend any user-friendly peer-to-peer software. It would surely help if all Orb followers are on the same network. I agree with RM. I used to use this and every time I started it up my firewall showed 200 to 300 open listening connections from E-Donkey!!! Very suspect bit of freeware, avoid at all costs.
Can anyone recommend any user-friendly peer-to-peer software. It would surely help if all Orb followers are on the same network. I have been using Bearshare recently although this also seems to crash my PC at irregular intervals.
