I'm sorry to have sniped that cd! I'll make it up to you somehow- because of the rarity of the item I felt I needed to be Machiavellian and clever- but remember, all I did was outbid you; if you had bid higher this wouldn't have happened! (I bid $26.40) When you really want an item you have to be vigilant (and I recommend not bidding at all until you're ready to place the winning bid... 10 seconds before the auction). I didn't use any special program, I just opened another browser window and resized it to fit both on screen, wityh the original window on the 'review bid' screen and the new window with the seconds remaining, then keep hitting 'refresh'- hit the place bid button at the last second! If you want, you can have the cd- I haven't sent the payment yet. I have it all on mp3 anyway and I was just getting the cd to waste money I don't have. just pay it forward. But you'll have to pay the guy $26 + $3, which is considerably more than you bid- just let me know. I'm probably not buying cds anymore- I spend about $150 /month (which is *far less* than it used to be) on music and I just can't do it anymore. I look forward,even, to not having a computer so I won't ahve to find out about this stuff- and I can get back to doing artwork which is what I should be doing!
