Listen you locals to SF - Tino Corp throws down a mean dub session, and there's no excuse why you shouldn't have all been there, lapping it up. I actually find them to be similar to Prayerbox in many ways... a thoroughly good dub session, with some part-time raggamuffin thrown in! yum! Go on... check them out next time they're live... it was amazing! (http://www.tinocorp.com) =) rach
I can only imagine. I've been digging the tino for years... At least since Hello! Friends was released. I've got all of tino's breaks albums... To note - jack dangers is a major force behind the project... -eric. -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of -> rachel Sent: Saturday, August 09, 2003 5:17 AM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [Orb] OT: Tino Corp Listen you locals to SF - Tino Corp throws down a mean dub session, and there's no excuse why you shouldn't have all been there, lapping it up. the reason you probably hear tino all over the place is that the original tino albums were breaks for djs and artist who wanted samples. i myself have used lots from their break albums in my bands live sets or recordings. at some point (i think it was around the dub set) they went in a new direction and decided to market themselves more as a band and not just a production studio. and dont forget ben stokes. he's great. the video stuff, as well as the production, he does is really fantastic. tweez --- chas <deejaysux@yahoo.com> wrote:

They played here a few days past Halloween last time, and was amazing. Stokes and Dangers, live video scratching, heavy beats, lots of effects, it was sweet. I talked with both Dangers and Stokes after the gig, and had authority to tape it from the desk. Gavin --- Tweezer Fetish <tweezer_fetish@yahoo.com> wrote:
