That's one of the 4, and from the sound of it, I would say it's mix 1 or 2. They are nearly identical. The guy who has the original 12" that ALL these MP3s came from has no information on it other than it was done by the KLF. There's no telling if all, or none of the mixes had any LX involvement. The Megamix is a completely separate recording, and was Alex's work according to the discography. What I meant about AHEGB Peel session is that it contains samples of the "child astronauts" that also appear in the megamix. I DID NOT mean that the Chill Out mix has samples of AHEGB in it. Thanks for the informative answer - the version I have does not include the AHEGB samples, but includes pieces from Elvis, Sons of Arqa (Albatross) Close Encounters, sheep, a news report on acid house parties and the guitar riff from Wicked Games by Chris Issak! Of the four mixes on the 12" - which is the LX remix - if not how do we tell? Thanks again... Orbscure
There were 4 remixes of Chill Out that were on one 12" record. 2 on each side. None of which are the Chill Out Megamix. I have noticed that people have been putting these out on MP3 sites claiming to be the chill out megamix. The Chill Out Megamix is extremely boring, monotonous, and repetitive. It has the same beat thoughout the entire 20 minutes. It also has the the samples of the child astronauts talking about a "lunar party in celbration of the great occasion". Those samples continue throughout the majority of the mix too. If my memory serves me, I think they also appear in the Peel session of AHEGB. The other Chill Out mixes are more like the commercial Chill Out in style, but much better in some ways. They used a lot of really cool samples that weren't in the final mix like like Chris Issak's wicked games. That's about all I have to offer. I can upload the real chill out megamix if needed

Sorry - I meant Wicked Games rather than Blue Hotel........ Sounds like we've downloaded the same thing. I could tape myself blowing bubbles in the bath and share it out on the net as an Orb megamix, someone would download it and ask the same question....it sounds like it's from that white label then. Which doesn't really answer the question does it [duh]. PS Sorry for replying to list by mistake instead of Joshua.......
