I thought would be fun to go back 5 years. Like the local newspapers do sometimes. awww cute a younger rachel: From: rachel <neptune@voidwhereprohibited.com> Subject: Re: (orb) FAVORITE ORB? Date: 05 Nov 1999 16:32:42 -0800
just a question for everyone to answer (think hard).... no thinking necessary - perpetual dawn is by far my favourite track - its the one that really drew me into the orb with that funny laugh, pleasant dubby beat... it is the epitome of orb: bumpin, humourous, with a tinge of mischief! Ultrabass II has to be my favourite mix, and thusly the UK cd5 of perpetual dawn being my favourite release ... there's nothing like cruising around sunny california with Perpetual Dawn blasting out of the car - never ceases to make me happy! (i could put those 4 mixes on repeat and never tire of them, i swear!)
=) rachel This little gem of a schizoid flame war got me kicked in heartbeat. From: "Vince Frank" <vpfad1@scotus.sfcpa.edu> Subject: Re: (orb) owwee Date: 11 Nov 1999 16:40:07 -0500

===>And this one, too.... C'mon, folks, now getting off-topic is one thing, but what's with comments like this? *I* of all people don't usually say stuff like this, but...there are minors on this list.... Let's keep things a bit cleaner than this.... Vince
heh. the funny (or sad) thing is that i still feel the same way! plus a now-estranged listee named greg (who was chased away during one of the many flame-war interludes) was kind enough to make me an extended perpetual mix, with about 40 non-stop minutes of Perpetual Dawn - heaven! some things never change... =) rachel On Jun 8, 2004, at 12:45 PM, Matt SchIeffer wrote:
