There was some speculation that these Ayumi mixes never obtained the proper licensing and that is why it had to be put out on an unmarked record that doesn't even exist.

Hmmmmmm I must've missed that discussion. My theory was that they'd planned to release what ended up being BOB4.5 as BOB2, but then when they "got the rights" (or whatever) for the Ayumi stuff they substituted that for BOB2 and made the other tracks into the bonus, non-existent BOB4.5. Recall that tracks from 4.5 were included in LX's BadOrb promo mix, whereas neither Ayumi mix was. Plus, there was always something fishy about the stickers on the 4.5 records. Plus, didn't 4.5 have the same BOB animal/satellite character as 2? I never considered the possibility that the tracks on 4.5 were more Ayumi mixes...? Do they really sound at all similar? JG
