Who here likes Yello? (Or used to.) I think their batty ethic of using things like golf-swings for instruments may have influenced the earlier incarnations of the Orb into doing things like having studio swordfights to get rhythms from; doesn't hurt that they were a band who were very much into those funky Latin rhythms and went a fair way to recreating them on their Fairlight.. Ooh and isn't that Thomas Fehlmann guy from Switzerland too? The rhythm section from "Drive Driven" sounds really Orby anyway. oh yeah, Kurrel

(Or used to.) mmm yes I love yello they did a lot of really good stuff in the 80s & early 90s claro que si, stella, one second, flag, baby... all kickass albums the latter ones havn't gotten all that good ratings in some places, but I dig them anyway (zebra, pocket universe, motion picture) love the sounds & rhythms & the odd lyrics/stories in their songs
