The Lps were originally advertised as such although I can't say that there is any indication that they are. If they were test presses, I would think they would be white label discs and not have proper printed sleeves like these ones. I'll also double check the matrix of each. If I can, I'll scan these and you can all judge for yourself.

Hmmm. Sounds weeeellllyy interesting...... Not that I'm any sort of authority, but I'd love to see a scan or two. I'm not trying to discredit your recent purchases...but I have seen white labels/promos before in full on sleeves with full artwork before too.

Um. Yup. Right behind me. I don't believe it was ever released. I was told it was one of 5, but I took that with a pinch of salt. I've got a lot of other CDRs too with the same type of label etc on the CD/cover - so it's defo legit. I've had this conversation with Smiley [yes, we really are that sad in real life] and he doesn't have a clue either - anyone else know for sure how many CDR "acetates" were released for various Orb releases?? I picked up another one last week that I ain't seen before. I *cough* borrowed a scanner from work, but it doesn't work properly so I can't scan anything in at the moment- I was about to attempt to post some scans etc that don't seem to exist elsewhere. BTW - The breakbeats are the track's only redeeming feature.
