Hey Orbsters! I've had quite a few lovely Orbish moments lately, and thought I'd share... Thomas Felhmann was in SF last night. He played a fantastic live set, to an embarrassingly empty space. I'd say there were less than 100 people there. Still, all the better for me! I love intimate shows like that. I didn't hear anything of his work with the Orb, but plenty of Kompakt-sounding tunes. Anyone else out here make it? Also, on Fri, I was at one of my local bars, the Noc Noc. Its really not known for their djs, but they have a fairly good setup. Early in the evening there was quite a bit of ambient and reggae/dub playing, and in the course of 2 hours, 2 Orb songs, plus the Higher Than The Orb remix. I was thrilled.
