You'll find virtually every file-sharing site loaded with "download here!" buttons for download managers and whatnot--same as when you install freeware that has 'extra' toolbars, home-page switchers, and crap you don't want or need. Just navigate past the crap to the link for the file you want. If you click on anything that wants to be installed, you've not found the proper link. Select the "slow / regular" download speed and wait the 30 seconds or whatever and you're home free. -j

I've heard through the grapevine that 'Space' may be revisited. I think LX is going to be involved in it more this time. I'm thinking it may be 'Space' as it was originally edited. Don't really know for sure. I'm really hoping to have Youth and possibly Jimi Cauty prepare episodes of "The 180" in the future. Alex really helped out a lot with getting in all three of these episodes over the summer, so I decided to let him rest a bit before asking him for more help. I was thinking of timing Youth's episode to the 20th Anniversary of "Auntie Aubrey" in December, or maybe the 20th Anniversary of 'U.F. Orb', next year. Wow....."Blue Room" is twenty next year as well........criminy. I asked Guy Pratt to do an episode, but he was borderline rude to me for asking if David and LX would play together after 'Metallic Spheres'. He said, "Never" and declined to put something together for us unfortunately. He also de-friended me on Facebook. :( Sad, because I really enjoy his art. .....and who trashes Thomas? "Outlands", "O.O.B.E", "Towers of Dub", FFWD, all the way to "Ripples".....Thomas is awesome and whoever trashes him, is pretty much lame. Cheers, Michael T. On 9/26/2011 8:11 AM, trm wrote:

Thomas is great. He deserves more credit in music land. I love his song I Wanna Be A Little Fishy. What's with mr. Pratt? Is he pissed off or something? aRv Date: Mon, 26 Sep 2011 09:32:21 -0500 From: musicforlisteners@hotmail.com To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] interestingly... A new interview here - ahead of The Orb Soundsystem appearing in London this weekend (which, if all goes well), I'll be attending! http://www.harderfaster.net/?sid=8ede8a8d9fa067b0587607599fdd25a8§ion=ne... On remaking "Space": "Trying to, when Jim finds the original tapes & bakes them. I try to maintain a healthy relationship with the old school Orb crew." and on forthcoming new work: "I go looking & things fall into place with the help of faith, hope & Orb-world colonies to cater for all, youth or auld. We are releasing ‘C-batter-C’ on Malicious Damage on the 11.11.11. It’s a short film with remixes by various friends like HFB , Gaudi & David Harrow etc. The film has also been remixed. I have also just been recording in the Star House in east Germany with Thomas Fehlmann & Lee Scratch Perry, which is co-named ‘Orb-server’. Also as HFB we have created music for a video game called ‘Shooter’, out now as ‘HFB PIXELJUNKED THE OST TO SHOOTER 1 & 2’. Screen is a new project with a single called ‘15 minutes’ out soon. Screen are myself, Gaudi & Chester. The opera is going ahead too, planned for Easter 2013, if we’re all still here that is! It’s part of the Opera Shoots project with the Covent Garden Opera House." Looking forward to the "Orb-Server" work... :-))
Wow, The Orb/LX are more alive then ever before! Screen is nice. I like it. But above all is the Rootmasters! lol. I am very curious how the project with Lee Perry sounds like. aRv Date: Wed, 28 Sep 2011 20:26:30 +0100 From: nickwking@ntlworld.com To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] interestingly... I don't know about you guys but i got triggered by CCC to listen to my old collection of tuesdays teatime at Groovetech. I have mp3s of those, but the quality is kind of low. It was in jan 2001 and the quality of internet streams was poor 10 years back.. If anyone would know a source with high quality versions, i would be utterly happy! aRv
Pretty sure the only source we have are derived from real audio files, which are indeed fairly poor. On Fri, Sep 30, 2011 at 10:21 AM, Ramon V <ramonvink@hotmail.com> wrote:
