This wasn't meant to be detrimental,I was just saying I think B&T Is worth 7/10 and doesn't deserve to be slagged off big time like It Is-Cue-The B&T experience live Is very good,o.k. I live In England I know that.Let's hope an Live '04' comes out I very much hope so.......... but alas I doubt It!
Well I think B&T rates about a 5.5 of 10. It's better than a blank cd-r most of the time. The point I was trying to make in my diatribe (really, there usually is a point) was bands often are far better live than they are on their albums and in my opinion there's no point in releasing the album if it is nowhere near as good as the live performance. You listen to Adventures and then listen to live performances and they're both stellar in different ways. If your album is shit, put it on the shelf, go out and tour for a few months, and then come in straight after a good show and remix the thing to emulate the quality of the live performance. In the case of the Orb their albums should be their own little universe that you can plug into your brain machine and be transported to a place that is both entertaining and overwhelming. B&T is like a bunch of "club beats" and "dj tools" that have been slapped together without purpose. I've always said B&T has some great moments on it but so do the presets in my MC-303. Great moments do not an album make. I think they should withdraw this piece of crap and do it again right. ____________________ www.psychicreform.com or http://www.ifpr.homestead.com until we get things working ____________________ 25% of the world's prison population is in US prisons.
