Made it to Houston with just enough time to check into my hotel and get to the show.
I missed the name of the first act, but it sounded pretty good from the bathroom--where I was shocked to see an attendant--the last time I saw one of those was in radio city.  (in Oklahoma, you're lucky if the toilet will flush.)
I noticed an older woman, perhaps in her mid to late forties, with her teenie bopper daughter and friend, two very young orb fans.  The mom, her body wrapped around her purse, looked disturbed as I heard her trying to persuade the kids to leave before midnight (much like an ugly/fat friend).
Thomas Fehlmann came out, finally, and his set was great!
This show was different from when I saw them in Lawrence Kansas.  No scene outside the show, Alex didn't come out and dance very much, no taping the crowd.
When Alex came out to play, the teenie boppers left (can you believe she made them miss the orb?).
Alles Ist Schoen was a surprize to me.  I loved Outlands.  Lunik was fun.  Because Before was soothing.
The venue was small, it seemed like there were a lot of Houston regulars who were just there to be there.  The crowd thinned out significantly when Fehlmann left the stage.  The video was awesome--it was moving to see the anti-war protest footage during LFC.  Which reminds me, die Amerikaner müssen Bush anklagen.
I've never seen two happier dj's, dancing and just having a great time.  My favorite was when Alex played the blue room reggae song.  And Freebird :)
oh, yeah, and I did get lost, after the show.
