Hrm, well I have in fact given up buying shit from the UK largely due to awful awful exchange rates I've been getting (one record store in leicester actually charged me a rate of 2USD to the pound!!!), and the high shipping costs (not to mention the fact that sometimes places still charge VAT to out of continent customers <cough>badorb<cough>).
