that was "the corpral" who does the vocals on "from a distance", and i assume that the plan was for him to come on later and do live vocals... ...before the power f*cked up. :-< it didn't get any better either, as the crew had to break down most of the stage with just two torches for light, until someone got a floodlight working. imho, all the best stuff on the night was when Simon got off the mixing desk and played live bass - just a shame that we didn't get to hear EDM, as we were all hoping to.
