hmmm, i beg to differ, but i think the ISNESS is brilliant.  imho, of course it doesn't sound like the fsol "we know and love" because it's been SEVEN YEARS since the last record.  i am not the same person i was seven years ago, are you?  i doubt that cobain and dougans are, either.  i'm just grateful that those two are still working together.  thank god someone has the guts to make some original electronic music.  i think the isness simply requires a few repeated LISTENINGS, as opposed to HEARINGS.  (if you distinguish the two...)  in the meantime, you can listen to those re-re-re-reissues of PAPUA NEW GUINEA.  do i hear you asking for another LITTLE FLUFFY CLOUDS, too?
