***** so Concorde2 i'm not happy with - apparently not the first time this has happened and to be honest I thought the promoter was a tad casual about it. i mean I know he probably personally couldn't do anything about it as I couldn't personally but a bit more sympathy would have been good - their tech bloke was runny around like a loony mind. it was such a shame as just about to go into top gear with LFC and tracks from Bikes and Trikes - I think the overall feeling was disappointment for the band and for the audience -cos it was going crazy ..its was a great atmosphere. respect to everyone that stayed on in the darkness - WE COULD HEAR YOU... if power came back on then they were gonna let us finish our set even after 2am.... If that had happened then I reckon it would rocked the roof off... really frustrating that we couldn't even get Alex/Sherman to spin some tunes for the remainder - weird cos the gear on stage was all up and running but the electric circuit with the sound etc came off, so it was a no win situation with filling up the last 45 mins...gutting.... this from the promoter!
We have found out the problem (which could have been there for years) and we will be having someone come in to look at the power distribution so it never happens again. I think because it was so hot, everything in the building was going full pelt and it tipped the supply over the edge.
Also www.theorb.com has been up dated and face lifted a bit... ! ***** cheers, --- Smiley
