It will not be obsolete. But you can try all you want. All that rapid share shit will pass. FTP has been around a long time and it is still a viable technology. If people can’t figure out how to open port 21, they don’t need to have access in the 1st place. I do not need to keep up with the “furry” of activity. I have most of the files to begin with. SO enjoy you personal crusade. It will fail like most do.

You didn't piss me off at all.  Actually I thought it funny while everyone else was thanking me for the Pomme Fritz video you saw it fit to admonish me for "non contribution."

 

Simply put, RMS has stopped his annoying posts on the KLF list because A) He can't keep up with the flurry of activity and B) Each post is accomponied by its own link to the file in question.

 

My goal is to render his FTP obsolete and thus the responsorials from you and him alike.   Many people have trouble getting onto that ancient machine, and the same amount have trouble configuring routers for bittorent.. etc etc.

 

Lets make this music more accessable to the hoi polloi.
