I put it down to bad engineering meself Didnt check the mono mix?!?! Or were they doing it on purpose? Check ffwd for that theres loads of phase mucking about on that It was designed to make you feel sick! But a by product of that and the surround mix Means any phase cancelling on that should bring out some weird panning stuff Should be loads of things appearing and disappearing if im right.... ------------------------------------------------------- back to the mission..... kdx: justablip.dyndns.org ( www.haxial.com ) mail: mail@justablip.net search:: www.justablip.co.uk/search/search.htm any points expressed here are purely only the authors opinions whether they are right or not is completely relative usually they are though... -----Original Message----- From: orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of elliott Sent: 29 December 2002 04:02 To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] new orb perspective fantastic~ now *this* is enlightening
its just a bit of fun , a way listen to your orb recordings from another angle as it were - try phase canceling a stereo signal (my favorite audio effect)- any orb record will do - and youll find loads of intresting sounds hidden away in the background ,
