This documentary video explores the humble beginnings of the track by 60s funk and soul band "The Winstons" called "Amen Brother" a b-side of their Grammy winning single "Color him Father", from which the ubiquitous 'Amen Break' was culled. The short video takes the viewer thru the journey of the sample through artists like 3rd bass to NWA to Squarepusher and Hrvatski, with solid commentary on the unlikely use of 6 seconds of sound from 1969 fueling everything from the UK Jungle scene to Corporate America's appropriation of hip-hop to sell us SUVs and Shampoo.
