Sorry - even though I paid Thrash and had his authority to make these recordings, e-bay say that this is a "Copyright Violation - Unauthorized Item". So have pulled it. I'm trying to dispute this. The live stuff is original, while the 2 DVD's are mainly packed full of other artists, so they do have a point. Sorry to spam the list, but unfortunately due to my current employment situation I'm forced to sell my personally collected Kris Weston music collection - all originals......to get cash to see the orb and shpongle, at Santa Rosa. Hi All, Haven't seen The Orb live since SMS Festival in Germany 2004, AreaOne Festival in Vancouver prior to that, both were good shows and I had a blast! From subscribing to this list since 1999, I've learnt that venue, location, scene, and crowd can have a huge impact on the show. I'm way overdue for an attendance, and dig The Dream album, and my choices for tour dates on the continent are: Aspen,CO - Belly UpBoulder,CO - Fox TheaterCarrboro,NC - Cats CradleWashinton DC - 9.30 Club I'm based out of Edmonton, AB but unfortunately the Vancouver and Toronto shows conflict with work, and it's easier/cheaper for me to take a weekend trip elsewhere for the show than to miss/upset my work schedule. If anybody that's in the know could enlighten me as to which show has the best chance of a good turnout, good venue, good vibes, etc. that would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards the Aspen show, but I'm worried that The Orb and Aspen may not exist on the same plane thought. If all else fails I might be forced to miss some work and hit up Commodore Ballroom in Van as I know the venue, location, and scene will be right on target. Vuja De sample spotting

Does anybody know from where the ...."What the hell was that?", sample in 'Vuja De' is used from? I'm watching the 1972 movie 'Blacula' right now & I totally just heard it! I'm almost certain it's from there. Also, I don't think I've ever heard so many references to using the term "All Hands On Deck" as an expression as I have recently on the telly... keep their heads cool y'all & keep 'em guessing. Oh yeah Kris Kwissy Trash Thrash Weston is on facebook as 'Anne Thrope' LOL "any throat" HA! the word I got was that Simon is too expensive to book along with... Youth live on bass would sure be a site for sore eyes. I guess no Witchman either; seems Lx & Phil must pipe the live bass through those uber expensive fiber optic lines instead... hope they dusted them clean after the Coachella diconnect. I'll be cupping my ears to three shows hopefully. Joe from FL

Hi All One of the stand out moments for me of seeing the Orb / Alex two years or so ago live was a really cool track with "singing in the rain" mixed along with Cool Harbour from Okie Dokie. I got to thinking about this mix again recently and tried to track it down. I have scoured through all the more recent live dj and orb sets I have but do not have this. Does anyone remember this appearing on any live sets they have and if so which one? Alternatively is there any chance I could grab download of it from someone or somewhere? On another note, I am not so sure I am looking forward to Orbsessions III. I normally look forward to a new orb album, but hearing its desciption reminds me of Okie Dokie again, which I generally consider to be the Orb's worst album and one I listen to very little. Wasn't massively impressed with OOPA, the one released track from the upcoming album, so really hope this is not an indication of the rest to come. Any help on that mix gratefully received. regards Gimberz
