Along the same vein as Kjell, I'm putting together a nice mix for a significant other and would like some ideas of Orb tunes and/or Orb remixes. Any help would be appreciated. Just a quick intro...I remember hearing 'Fluffy' on the way to a DJ gig in Columbus, OH way back when it was just available as an import. Picked up the double CD (still have it!) from Magnolia Thunderpussy and felt an instant connection. Thanks for listening and be well, Hully

For albums, I've found U.F.Orb to me among my favorites of the earliest work. Orbvs Terrarvm is a real kicker for me too. Orscure Trax is a nice rounded promo aswell. Their singles, EPs, and remixes are where I think I get the most consistent listening pleasure though, due to all the variety and experimentation it affords them. I am trying to go thru them all and wondered which ones you prefer the start with the double-cd adventures beyond the ultraworld is hard to beat oh - can I find the 30minute full version of Blue Room on the web. For those interested, I am making a DVD with all 80's club music consisting of Razormaid and extended tracks. I have made an EXL sheet and placed it on the server for all to d/l and look at if they are interested. I am constantly adding to it, so I will keep it updated as I get more tracks. So can anyone give us the "Lowdown" on Adrian sherwood? All I can find out is that he seems to be a bit of a Dubmiester boy,anyone seen him perform before? Also-of all the times I have seen The Orb,I have never seen Mr.Fehlman perform with them before,i take it he does now what say witchman did at the most recent gigs i saw them just stand on the big fuck off sound desk? Or am I wrong? I am a bit dubious as I believe the man in question to be a minimalist if "Okie dokie" is anything to go by..................?
