Pete Namlook recommendations?

So I am looking to expand my ambient horizons, and haven't really checked out too much Namlook / Fax stuff. But I am a little overwhelmed by the amount of releases! 84 albums!! Let me start by saying I'm not a huge fan of completely beatless drone music. But I know not all Namlook is like that, and I don't know where to start. I'd like some stuff with beats or textures of some sort (not just 80 minutes of spacey tones). I liked some of the S.H.A.D.O. Stuff, and some of the Fires Of Ork album, but that's about all I know. Any recommendations?? Thanks! :-) _jason_

Anyone happen to have the tracklisting for this amazing set or care to start one? ;) >From the top of my head I cannot remember any of the tunes there ). However, I vaguely remember some oldish KLF tune there (or was it just odd samples thrown together?). Should give it another listen I guess.. Plus there's a cover version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" done with sitars, plus some simple but yet amazing laid-back piece that heavily samples 2001: Space Odyssey. Don't know the names of both tunes, but would love to know what they are. Roman

Very effective. " Makes me think of a Nine Inch Nails song on the downward spiral album. Track 2 or 4 or something with that basketball beat that keeps accelerating. I don't suppose its the perfect drug remix.. only possible guess. Thats one of the worst orb songs ever. But the Lost Highway Soundtrack.. now there was a disc. i hate to bring the lit back on topic, but.... on another list someone was discussing drum samples, and one listie posted this comment: "I seem to recall a tune by The Orb, where the primary "snare" sound is a basketball bouncing on pavement. Thats some funny shit. Reminds me of the nerf balls they used to have that you could put glow sticks into. I want to do some nite golf this fall. (thats real golf, not disc) I hear its a hoot.
