If you are running FM7, you can load any DX series presets into it.
What great about this is that FM7, IMHO, is way easier to program.
Any patch made by anybody with a DX series synth can be loaded and re-tweaked in FM7. Just sweet. If you guys haven't messed with FM7 before, try it out. AMAZING sound.
On a side note, I'm hooked on the following VSTis:
- PPG Wave 2.v
- SC-101 (Roland SH101 emulator - Only $40 Us bundled!)
- BS-1 (For Soundfonts - I'm running all the EMU Orbit, Proteus Presets through this. Fantastic!)
- Muon Tao Pro - for awesome lead stuff. Especially 303 sounds if that's your bag. Free version of this available too.
- Fxpansion DR-008 Drum module - as a host and just trigger off an Octapad II.
