Bikes and Trikes Album

I got the Jap Bikes and Trikes album months ago through Import.... but heard that the American and Uk versions are to differ in mixes and production. Can anybody shed some light as to these? Sorry, but you have to admit.. if i'm a true fan... which everyone here is... I have spent countless hours and $$$ going ot shows and on CD's and merchandise. When I got my Cydonia shirt and it fell apart in the wash it was as though the album had truly manifested itself, in the form of shoddy craftsmanship, in the tog. The opposite would be Def Leopard's Union jack w/is that one album all the way, expressing all the energy.. even though they suck. Who else deserves to lash out violently than a chilled out ambient fan who won't allow his favorite band to urinite into his eustachian tubes (cite Phish ; Bittersweet Motel) I mean I love the man... sometimes laugh when Thrash rags on him.. but he's blinded by ambition and his brain is clogged w/resin. Not to be a downer... but to put out such quality work... to make a franchise the Orb last so long... was a good run.... and its over. Said so himself quite a bit. It started with Mich Mars 7" or whatever polished turds he had turned out. I mean Cydonia is a great album, if it were some new band... not for my favorite band who I hold to the HIGHEST mother-fucking standard of anyone? Isnt that my right? I also like Track four, yet I also think that CYDONIA is a masterpiece too. "MILE LONG LUMP OF LARD" is sheer brilliance. Yes we all have our own oppinion, but can you listen to the tracks technical merit rather than synthetics? Good will to all men; did it end with you? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- case in point--> Alex Paterson even takes the reins on Track 4 as The Rob performing -'4 Horsemen'. Reflections 2003

Maybe it would be interesting if listees gave a few of their best of for 2003... Best new band , album etc. My best album is sorta slim pickings... Probably Plaid w/ Spokes (also Parts in the Post is 2003) Best New Band: I don't know if this band is new but new to me.. They're called The Clash? ever heard of em. On a frolick to Austin, TX for a wedding in may i transported 8 of my drunken friends around in a Dodge Caravan that I rented w/ a debit card listening to London Calling. Oh my Corizon! Best Movie of the Year: This is a difficult pick... I mean I watched Donnie Dark for the 1s time and that takes the cake... ummm godamn I don't know... Pool Hall Junkies maybe? no Bubba -HotepI can't even do my own quiz. Things I'm going to Miss most in 2004. Well two come to mind... 1st is the removal of so-called "downed" cattle from our food chain in the U.S. I mean I understaned the need to avoid mad cows but... not only is the spine and brain the juiciest cuts but EVERYONE knows that non-ambulatory cows make the best burgers! Also going to miss the herbal ephedrine. Sure it causes strokes, dehidration, heart palpitations, collapse, death... but who is going to be the one to cast the 1st stone? Herbal E... since I never did the real E you and me became close. Remember the time you, me, royal jelly, skull cap, and I think cat-nip went to that Moby concert and I drank an assload of Grainbelt premium and was whipping people w/my glow-necklace during 10,000.... that was good times... GOOD times. Well... all of you think of some more reminiscenses..... some may already be in 2004 if you live in like Barundi.. thank you all.. have a SAFE and happy new years. I haven't submitted the FLAC fingerprints (similar to md5s) info to etree because I'm not sure if LX officially sanctions trading and they are very diligent about bands being taper/trade friendly. Anyone know if trading live shows is okay with him?
