I like that Tod. That's the good use of space. Right now the our M17 has an electric panel like the one you have mounted on the V-berth bulkhead, but mounted where the drawers are. The battery shut-off is about in the same place--maybe closer to the galley structure. I've probably seen this on the M site but because my head wasn't into the problem, skipped right by it. Ever thought about losing the sink? And I see the logic on weight distribution. t Tom Smith & Jane Van Winkle Sandpoint, Idaho M15-345, Chukar M17-064, Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: htmills@bright.net [mailto:htmills@bright.net] Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2003 4:05 PM To: 'For and about Montgomery Sailboats' Subject: RE: M_Boats: galley mods Also, Tom Busca's outboard is on the port side. Heavier canned goods go nearer the ctrline in a storage tub under the cockpit. Water is stored in 1 gal plastic jugs under the v-berth. Somewhere around I have a more recent picture that shows my new fronts: light ash trimmed in teak, all with matching finger holes. I have at various times thought about changing it, but I doubt I will; the present arrangement works fine. I would like to remove the sink drain and thru-hull since I only use the sink as a catch-all. When heeling to port water will back into the sink unless it is plugged. Message The new fronts show up in your picture of dinner cooking on your propane stove (propped on the carpet on the sole of your cabin) don't they?
