Re: M_Boats: Neil/ July 7th sail
Bert, Thanks for the tip about the pole, and safe travels. You might want to send Bill and Dawn Kaiser a note; Bill mentioned while in Havasu that they took their M15 "Desert Dawn" up to Yellowstone last year. I'm pretty sure they only went to Yellowstone Lake but they might have also put in at Jackson Lake. Anyway who knows, they might have a few pointers / ideas regarding the area. Best, Neil
PS Colter bay on Jackson Lake is a great port though the ramp is a bit shallow and not that steep had to use the extension on the trailer. The circle around to line up for the ramp looks tight but we had room for our M-15 trailer with the extension extended. We made reservations and got the end of the dock what a beautiful view of the mountains as the sun goes down and comes up. We also got reservations for the cabins at Colter bay nice a little rustic but comfortable. The first night we were tied up to the dock 2 thunder and hail storms came through that was exciting! fortunately they were short in duration. Beautiful area Bill and Dawn Kaiser M-15 "Desert Dawn" On Tue, Jun 29, 2010 at 6:16 PM, <ndorf@surfbest.net> wrote:
