I'm cleaning out my inbox file and ran across this, so a belated answer is in order, maybe. We race the 12 at the Newport Beach clubs for several years in the early 70's, often getting 12 or 15 boats on the line. Things slowly fell off when I stated making the 17 and just didn't have the time to promote it anymore. Some great times, tho, and one of my daughters usually crewed for me and that was nice. I was browsing through a book I had bought thirty years ago and it lists some one-design class association secretaries. At that time, the M12 class association secretary was one Nancy Kilpatrick of Newport Beach, CA.

Never knew such a thing existed.
