Per Dave Scobie's recommendation I knocked off the boom cap (with diffuculty) and emptied the contents and found a spring, was her and a straight cotter pin as described the the Dwyer gooseneck schematic provided by Dave. I assembled the parts, bent the cotter pin and lubed the cap and partially coroded screws with lanolin and it seems good as new! What is the recommended anti-galvanic corrosion treatment? Thanks!
