I had a M17 and had a Tohatsu 4 or 5 which worked very well. My opinion is that the 2 is going to be to small. Bill, Alina has a 4 HP Nissan with both internal and external tanks. It weighs a little less than the Honda and runs like a dream. One feature I really like (but, luckily, haven't utilized) is that it has a clutch instead of a shear pin, giving you one less thing to worry about. It also delivers plenty of power, even in the high currents of San Francisco Bay.
