Thanks for coming into the conversation Jerry. Another great thing about this list is actually having you be apart of the conversation. (and that goes for Bob as well) My 17 does not have a cutout. It has an adjustable stainless mount (added probably) I mistakenly thought that you may have sold 17 packages with the Honda 75. Many older vintage 17's that I looked during my search last year had larger motors with them with 7.5's, 7's and 6's on most of them. It's good to hear that was not the case as I have been looking to downsize for convenience (make that weight) sake. Guess just a case of most thinking that bigger is better back in the day. If they made a 3 with and external tank, I would buy it, unfortunately, you have to move to a 4hp for that convenience, so that's where I'm headed. I'm pulling off all of the wood and some hardware for re-bedding currently... Then will be pulling the CB since the boat is new to me.
