Hi, Yes, I bought my new M15 sight unseen and had never sailed on one either. At the time I was living in NW GA and could not locate any 15's or 17's close enough to sail on. But like you I had researched them on the web and they got such good reviews and when compared to other similar boats they seemed to come out better. I had the boat delivered to me. Bob kept me informed and sent pictures of the boat all along the building process. There are a few things I would have added if I had been a bit wiser though. For one I would have had a boarding ladder installed as I feel it is a safety factor when sailing single handed. It is near to impossible to install later. Also, get a topping lift added. It makes life simpler. And I think I would have added 12 V. I don't do much after dark sailing but when staying on board it is nice to have more than Coleman lanterns to see by at night. I have not regretted doing it. I love my little M 15! Time for a cool change! Sandra(Seawitch #617)
