Doug: Thank's for the narrative and pictures of your trip to Maine. I particularly enjoyed the picture of you and Todd in the Dory. Where does one stow a 15 pound anchor on a Montgomery 15? Rich Cottrell
Rich, Did I ever show you my "Rower's Collection"? "Rower's Collection?", you ask. "What, pray tell, is a Rower's Collection?" Weeeellll, I've started a collection of pictures of people who have been kind enough to row the boat ashore (Michael?!) while a certain lollygagger (that would be yours truly) rocked the boat while craning for yet another shot. So far I'm only up to two, but it's a start: Rower #1: www.todspages.net/images/LF-RC001.jpg Rower #2: www.todspages.net/images/LF-RC002.jpg Actually, there IS a third one, although it doesn't really count. It's of me rowing myself ashore (photo courtesy Rick) while doing my best walrus imitation: Rower #3: www.todspages.net/images/LF-RC000walrus.jpg Tod M17 #408 BuscaBrisas -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+htmills=bright.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+htmills=bright.net@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Richard Cottrell Sent: Monday, December 05, 2005 11:46 AM To: Montgomery Boats Subject: M_Boats: Sailing Maine Islands Doug: Thank's for the narrative and pictures of your trip to Maine. Rich, I have the deep locker on the port side of my M15 and the the 15 lb CQR just fits through the opening with a slight twist as it goes in. The 6 - 11 lb Bruce is a better fit for the M15. I am using the CQR because I have it. By the way, I stopped by Potomack Sailmakers and Jack showed me your letter thanking him for the excellent workmanship on you new M15 sails. Jack was very appreciative of the letter. Thanks Doug
