We are installing an Idasailor folding rudder (3 pintle) on a new 2005 Montgomery 17 being built for a customer in Maryland. Kind of excited to see how it looks and how it sails. It is the same depth as the standard rudder and all else being equal it should perform as well. If all goes well we will offer it as an option on our new M_17s. After I get her installed I would be glad to send photos to anyone interested. Resin is now at $605 a drum....!!!!!.....OUCH! Look for a price increase.
