Re: M_Boats: Mast fitting for whisker pole
Howard, Between APS,Mauri Pro, Jamestown for the esoteric, Jerry Montgomery Rigging, these are the best deals this ex MIP has been able to root out. (ask anyone who knows me - I am a cheap one - heck I haven't even painted the other side of my boat yet!) The WM Store in my neighborhood is just down the street (Mr.Mulligan worked there way back when) and if you need them - you need them and are glad they are there. I just think the idea of 'consolidating retail sales' is usually only good for ONE entity. That is never the consumer. Take Care,Have Fun,Go Sailing. GO One week til my trip to the Great South Bay to see family and sail! YeeeeeHah In a message dated 8/3/2009 7:24:52 A.M. Screen=PROD&Product_Code=FOR406300&Category_Code=FORHEA Roughly $305 vs. $390 for the same thing from WM. I won't say I've stopped buying from WM entirely, as they have two stores within 90 miles of me. Sometimes, you need things today, and there is only one other local option I'm aware of in Missouri I can go for sail related stuff such as blocks, running rigging, etc. But I have found a lot of other options when time allows. I'll put Mauri down as one of them. Howard On Aug 2, 2009, at 1:38 PM, GILASAILR@aol.com wrote:
Howard, Check out Mauri Pro Sailing for their pricing - NFIW but I find good prices and excellent service esp. if it is a "part number order" GO
