Hi Bobbie, Welcome back. I had a 2 HP Suzuki that I used on a ComPac 16. It was a great little engine and was more than enough to push it under all circumstances that I encountered. (not 5 knot tides running against you........) On the M15 I use a 2 HP HONDA, and it is equally as good, and preferable since it is a four stroke engine - no mixing oil and gasoline for fuel - I'd get the Suzuki running and give it a try before heading in another direction......
