New 2008 "LAPSTRAKE" T-shirts/sweatshirts
OK, I should probably wait a few more days until I am ready to take orders to unveil this, but I'm pretty excited about a new Monty t-shirt design that we'll be printing up. You may recognize the layout from the SCA magazine "Gunkhole" T-shirt. Well, I took that layout and applied it to what we sail. The layout is basically done. We are finishing up the final details of the pocket logo on the front which should be done by next week. Then we'll burn the screens and be ready to take orders for the first printing. The abstract line drawing of the boat came directly off of a photo taken by Mark Dvorscak of Dauntless sailing to Friday Harbor in the 07 San Juan Cruise but was intentionally left abstract to be able to represent any of the lapstrake hulls, as well as to be a little artsy/fartsy. Love to hear your comments but the artwork for logo is finalized. It also includes a reference to our bigger brothers, the Nor'seas. Since we share the same lines and heritage. As soon as the pocket logo is complete I'll add the artwork and ordering directions and prices. AND...if it makes you feel any better about purchasing a t-shirt/sweatshirt.....you will be donating to the "Dauntless travels 1500 miles to join the 2008 San Juan Montgomery Owners Rendezvous Fuel Fund"! Sean, Sorry I didn't go far enough into the email to get the link. The artwork is perfect. This is perfect for me since I owned a Norsea 27 and now have an M-17. Can't wait to make my order.
