We try to plan the CBC (Cheasapeake Bay Cruise, I have to much trouble spelling Rendevouz) for the second week in June so that people can plan their vacations well in advance. This year it will start on June 7th and last as long as you do :) Since I will be making the Dry Tortugas trip this year I will not have enough vacation time left to spend the week. I will be there for 3 days, possibly 4. This year I was thinking of starting farter south and Leaving from Reedville on Cockrell Creek 7 mi south of the Bay end of the Potomack. It is off of the Great Wicomico River and is one of the prettiest areas of the Bay (they all say that). It is fairly remote in that there are only a couple of small marinas in the area and few restaurants. Tangier Island is 14 nm due East of the Great Wicomico river and would make a very good destination with a beam reach Bay crossing. Tangier is incredibly unique and is well worth the trip. Not to change the subject....well maybe to change the subject....are there any plans for one or more M-Boats to assemble this summer, other than the pending group going to the Keys? As in CBR 2003 or other?
