I was thinking I might make it this year...but I just got some work that I both want and need to take and that will have me away from home from the 10th and returning on the 16th. It's a two-day drive to the WIRC from here, never mind prep and other logistics...so, not gonna happen this year, alas! Pseudo lapstrake boats!?!?!?!?! Why,Jon, don't you know that BEFORE there were wooden lapstrake boats there were fiberglass lapstroke boats. But then some people with too much time on their hands decided to make pseudo lapstrake boats out of just plain wood so they could contend with rot, and toredo worms, and rust and corrosion. Well those guys have finally worn themselves out fixing instead of sailing their boats so then someone came up with the bright idea to make fiberglass lapstrake boats AGAIN so they could go sailing instead of sanding.
