THIS not the same as buying a custom made boat or a boat that has been bastardized by ill informed boat hackler. you know the kind, they know everything, change everything with no knowledge of design or of purpose. but when you buy a class design you are buying a boat that has already been tested and proven they all sail the same, minus the tweaking we just love to do with sails and weight etc. and sometimes it is the way to get a great deal, right there on that moment with cash.
