If you shut off both the air vent on the gas cap (and be sure to open it when you want to run the engine or it will never start......or run..........) and the gas shutoff to the carburetor your problems should be solved.<<

Hmmmm...if the gas cap air vent is closed, my Seagulls (small & large) will start, but will stop running after a few minutes...seems the larger one quits a lot sooner then the smaller one<GG> Harvey/ Ga M-17 Stargazer #294
