Cruise the world in your own NorSea for less that the cost of a used Montgomery... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=453212823...
Yes, sadly Mark the owner of that Nor'Sea 37 Hull and Deck kit that I built had a bad injury and can hardly walk. Real bad back problems. I talked to him today; he is heartsick about selling it but it is impossible for him to even get inside. (about 10,000 trips up and down below before the boat gets finished) I would say about 4500 man hours and perhaps $100,000 cash would finish her off for around the world voyaging. It really looks almost like the day I built her. Nice and clean. I have gotten about 8 calls on this hull and deck kit. Be advised this is a BIG BOAT inside; a big project. But it was Lyle's last design before he went blind. (I did the deck because Lyle couldn't see after drawing the hull). Fair winds Bob (949) 489-8227 anytime... stephen gray wrote:

Wow, what a shame. Hopefully she'll go to a good home. Doesn't even have ballast in her. Golden opportunity for someone with deep pockets who wants a big boat. Tod M17 #408 BuscaBrisas www.todspages.net
How true...! The ballast of 7200 pounds, cast lead will cost about $8000 alone to install. Then the 7 custom tanks below the floor, engine beds, fuel tank etc it all adds up. But when you finish her you would have a fantastic world class voyager. (and home) Bob htmills@bright.net wrote:
