Good morning. I just found this list and am a new member. I have crossed the Indian Ocean in a Bristol Channel Cutter, owned and lived aboard a Falmouth Cutter in pre-Katrina New Orleans and am now in Oregon. I am a great fan of Lyle Hess designs and am looking for a trailerable boat for Pacific Northwest lakes. A neighbor has a Montgomery 17 and it seems to be the ideal boat for my current needs. Just wanted to say hi, and if anyone has a M17 in need of a good home (does not need to be in pristine condition) please let me know. Regards, Larry Hipple

Larry: Where are you located? I am looking for a partner (who would buy me out in about 3-5 years) for my refurbished M17 'grey mist'. Now that I am approaching 65 the realities of old age are setting in and I find that puttering about on the lake is about all I can handle. She is kept at Fern Ridge Lake (outside of Eugene, Oregon) during the summer, but would be available for trailer sailing during the rest of the year. Contact me back channel if interested. cheers, Shawn Boles Grey Mist (M17 #276 1978) shawn@ori.org -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+shawn=ori.org@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+shawn=ori.org@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of lmhipple@efn.org Sent: Tuesday, August 28, 2007 10:35 AM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Looking for a boat Good morning.
