Rick, Yep there was at least one dealer here in AZ. My good friend David Klug sold Montys right here in little ol' Havasu (back then it was a population of about 15,000). That's how I got introduced to them. I think that there may have possibly been another dealer in the Phoenix or Tucson area as well but I am not sure. There was a sailboat place in Phoenix called Sails West or something like that but they are long out of business. Dave had a 23. I was just emailing with him because his was a kit boat where the owner finished it himself. He had installed round portholes, like the pictures of Native Dancer and he also had a roller trailer like Native Dancer. Last we knew of his boat was when he sold it up in the Morro Bay area around 89 or 90. We were both looking at the pics wondering if that could be his old 23. The other 23 was owned by a local dentist named Jim Haamstra. Not sure what happened to that one. We now know the whereabouts and have pics of of 10 of the 19 or 20 original 23's. Keep your eyes and ears open. Seems like you never know when or where another pops up.
