I just received my new loose footed sail and had to modify the boom. I had a robe bolt main before. The tack connection is rubbing on the boom where it connects to the gooseneck. The new loose footed sail stayed in the track when connected to the gooseneck. I bent the old foot track down, but I may have to cut part of the track off where it connects to the gooseneck. Has anyone experienced this problem? Also, when reefing a loose footed main, do you tie the reef points around the boom or just around the sail? Norm M15 #172
