I have one on my M-17. Very old. It was on in the Gulf/Mexico for several years before I bought it (5-6 years ago) and brought it the Atlanta.

3. the idea of using the platform for a fuel storage accessory. << Methinks it would put the stern down too much, unless you'te talking of a gallon or two ar best.
